This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the Puppyfy mobile application on iOS and Android (the “App”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the terms described in this Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the App.

2.Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve our services.
2.1 Account & Identity Information
When you register or sign in, we collect:
- Full name
- Email address
- Password (stored securely — we never store it in plain text)
- Profile photo (optional, if uploaded via Google or Apple account)
2.2 Social Authentication Data
If you choose to sign in using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In, we collect:
- Your name and email address from the selected provider
- A provider-issued unique identifier (e.g., Google ID or Apple User Identifier)
- Profile photo URL (Google only)
Note: We do not receive your social media passwords. Authentication is handled entirely by Google or Apple.
2.3 Puppy & Pet Health Data
To provide the core features of the App, we collect information about your puppy:
- Puppy name, breed, date of birth, and gender
- Puppy photo (uploaded by you)
- Vaccination and deworming records (history, schedules, dates, marked status)
- Weight logs (weight value and date)
- Daily activity logs (walks, playtime, exercise duration)
- Food and water intake logs
- Onboarding and passport data (health passport details)
2.4 Device & Technical Data
To enable push notifications and improve app functionality, we collect:
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token — used solely to send you push notifications
- Device platform (iOS or Android) — used to route notifications correctly
- Device information (operating system version, device type) — collected automatically by Firebase
2.5 Usage & Analytics Data
We may collect anonymised information about how you interact with the App, including:
- Features accessed and screens visited
- Approximate session duration
- Error logs and crash reports
This data is used solely to improve the App and is not linked to your identity.
2.6 Communications
If you contact us via email or through the App, we may retain:

5. Data Storage & Security
- Your data is stored on secure servers managed by Supabase and Google Firebase, which employ industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and encryption at rest.
- Authentication tokens (JWT) are stored securely using Flutter Secure Storage, which uses iOS Keychain and Android Keystore — encrypted, hardware-backed storage provided by your device’s operating system.
- We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
- No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services.

7. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
7.1 Access & Correction
You can view and update your account information and puppy details directly within the App at any time.
7.2 Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time from within the App. This will permanently and irreversibly delete your personal data and all associated puppy records from our systems. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
7.3 Push Notifications
You can enable or disable push notifications at any time through your device’s system settings:
- iOS: Settings → Notifications → Puppyfy
- Android: Settings → Apps → Puppyfy → Notifications
7.4 Social Sign-In Revocation
If you signed in with Google or Apple, you can revoke the App’s access through your Google or Apple account settings at any time. Note: revoking access does not automatically delete your Puppyfy account.
7.5 GDPR Rights (EU/EEA Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:
- Access — Request a copy of your personal data.
- Rectification — Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Erasure — Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
- Restriction — Request that we restrict processing of your data.

The Puppyfy App is intended for use by individuals aged 13 years and older (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction).

We will take prompt steps to delete such information.
9. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
The Puppyfy App does not use cookies or cross-app advertising trackers. We do not track you across third-party apps or websites for advertising purposes.
Technical identifiers (such as device tokens for push notifications) are used solely to deliver the requested service functionality.
10. International Data Transfers
Your personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the country in which you reside, including the United States (where Google Firebase and Supabase infrastructure may be located). These transfers are made with appropriate safeguards in place (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) to ensure your data is protected in accordance with applicable laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy
