О породе
Descending from Germany in the 15th century, Dachshunds were bred as badger hunters. Their short legs and long bodies were perfect for digging and navigating tunnels. Despite their hunting background, these loyal and brave pups are also known for being playful and independent. Shedding is average, requiring regular brushing. Maintenance costs are moderate. With proper training, their Dachshund spirit can become a loving and energetic companion.
