About the breed
Pugs, with their wrinkled visages and curly tails, originated in China as companions for royalty. Bred for lapdog life, these comical charmers are known for their affectionate and playful personality. Shedding is minimal, but their short coat still requires regular brushing to keep things tidy.
Maintenance costs are generally low. Despite their potential stubborn streak, their loving and easygoing personality makes them popular companions for those looking for a cuddly couch potato.
